About the Book
Everyone who places their faith in Jesus Christ by entering through the “narrow gate” quickly comes to the same question: “Now what?” It may not be uttered aloud, but invariably it is on the inside. It’s a natural question of the unlearned who are seeking guidance. Unanswered it is the reason so many struggle to mature in their faith and find themselves displaying an often tepid example of the Christian life to the world.
The Narrow Path is an illuminating roadmap for discovering the optimal way of pursuing the growth that God desires for us. This roadmap begins with the internal changes we must focus on and then moves to the external ways in which we are visibly bearing fruit of our transformation, and finally to the way we replicate our growth in others.
The Narrow Path helps cultivate an appropriate response to the “now what” question so the answer that echos back is “now I see!”. It is perfect for the new convert seeking to get started on the right foot, as well as the for the more experienced believer who may find themselves bogged down in a season of stagnation or struggle. Finally, it will be a great help to mature believers looking for the best way of fulfilling the Great Commission and making new disciples.
About The Author
Tommy Hamor
Tommy Hamor, author of The Narrow Path, is a native Houstonian and graduate from the University of Houston in Communications. Vocationally, Tommy has forged a successful career as Founder and President of Hamor Printing and Graphics, Inc. Together, his education and career have developed his understanding about how people convey ideas, both graphically and verbally, the latter feeding into his passion of teaching the bible, and this year in publishing his first book on Christian discipleship.
For the last 37 years, Tommy has taught the bible within the platform of the local church. His vision is to take that same bible teaching with his effective teaching style to the larger platform of readers beyond his local church.
As a layman in the church, Tommy writes in an autobiographical manner as he shares what he has learned through the years about advancing in the faith, seeking to relate that in an effective way to other laymen and laywomen.
Tommy resides in Sugar Land, Texas with his wife Diana. He has three children and five grandchildren. He is currently still working but nearing retirement as he prepares other writing projects.
